  • 2 pounds jumbo shrimp 1/4 cup flour 1/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup melted butter 2 tablespoons minced garlic 4 tablespoons minced parsley 1 cup drawn butter sauce Drawn Butter Sauce 4 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons flour 1 teaspoon lemon juice Freshly ground black pepper 1 cup hot water


Shell shrimp and leave tails on. Dry; dust with flour. Mix oil and butter in flat baking dish. Add shrimp and broil under medium heat for 8 minutes. Make drawn butter sauce. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter, add flour, lemon juice and pepper and stir until smooth. Add cup of hot water and bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and cook 5 minutes. Add remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and stir until melted. Add the garlic and parsley to this sauce. Pour sauce over the shrimp and stir to coat all shrimp. Broil for 2 minutes and serve immediately.
