Discover Why Washington Became the Leader of the Revolution

After the Battles at Lexington & Concord started the Revolutionary War, it was nearly two months before George Washington was appointed commander in chief of the Continental Army.

Through hands-on activities, you can learn more about how the war began and why the Second Continental Congress chose George Washington to lead the Continental Army.
