Engage in Lessons, Inquiry Strategies, and Leadership Activities
Through hands-on inquiry experiences, leadership lab stations, primary-source investigations, and collaborative reflection, participants will engage in active, creative, and deeply relevant learning. The workshop highlights practical classroom applications while showcasing outstanding instructional resources available through Mount Vernon and the George Washington Teacher Institute.
By the end of the session, teachers will have a collection of ready-to-use lessons, inquiry strategies, and leadership activities designed to help students think critically, act responsibly, and recognize the power of character in shaping both personal success and the future of our democracy.
