Constitution Day Tweetup #GWConstitutionDay
This past Constitution Day, the Washington Library was privileged to host social media personalities from across the country in a tweetup. Our guests got to view many exciting documents rarely made available to the public. These documents included George Washington's personal copy of the Constitution of the United States containing his own hand-written annotations.
The event was a fantastic success generating 361 tweets and roughly 1,300 retweets that shared the Washington Library's collections with more than 1.1 million people around the world.
