  • Hear about how Mount Vernon has been used to represent Washington’s legacy
  • Learn about “America’s favorite fighting Frenchman” and the crucial addition of “Guns and Ships” from France
  • Discover the life of William Lee, Washington’s enslaved “Right-Hand Man”
  • Connect the European influence to the early American economy, lifestyle, culture, and way of life
  • Uncover the surprising similarities between Washington and King George III
  • Compare the character of Washington, Hamilton, and Burr
  • Reflect on the messages of Washington’s Farewell Address and see Washington’s “own vine and fig trees.”
