Mount Vernon offers expanded shuttle service to the Pioneer Farm and Distillery & Gristmill sites. Shuttle usage is included with general admission.
Take the shuttle to visit George Washington's Distillery & Gristmill, fully-functioning reconstructions utilizing cutting-edge 18th-century technology. Your general admission ticket is good for attendance on the main historic Estate as well as the Distillery & Gristmill site.
Shuttle run continuously from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. In addition to online tracking below, signs are available at major shuttle stops with active arrival times.
Take the shuttle to experience our 4-acre demonstration Pioneer Farm to learn more about George Washington’s innovations in agriculture. Visit the replica structures including a slave cabin and a building of Washington’s own design, the 16-sided barn. View the majestic Potomac River at the Wharf and learn more of its commercial importance to Mount Vernon. Sightseeing cruises are also available.
