Henry Knox's "Noble Train"

This winter marks the 250th anniversary of when Henry Knox, a bookseller from Boston, brought cannons from Fort Ticonderoga to Boston. The cannons helped George Washington and the Continental Army end the Siege of Boston and force the British out of the city.

In the Ford Orientation Center, explore primary sources to find out what Knox and his team were doing each day 250 years ago, and learn more about what we know (and don't know) about this important event.
