Researching at the Washington Library

In this episode, Anthony King sits down with Samantha Snyder, Access Services Librarian at the Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington at Mount Vernon, to discuss the research operations at the Library as well how people can visit for their own research purposes.

Samantha Snyder is the Access Services Librarian at the Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington at Mount Vernon. She is the co-author of “Warriors, Saints, and Scoundrels: Brief Portraits of Real People Who Shaped Wisconsin." Her next project is focusing on the life and legacy of Elizabeth Willing Powel, an elite Philadelphian and close friend of George Washington.

Anthony King is the Library Projects Assistant at the Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington at Mount Vernon. Aside from working with public events and the research fellows program on-site, he is involved heavily with the popular Conversations at the Washington Library podcast series, serving as a co-producer and sound engineer.
