  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon butter, soft
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Scald milk in a small pan and pour slowly over cornmeal in a large mixing bowl; mix well. Cream butter eggs and salt until light. Combine with cornmeal mixture. Pour mixture into a 9-inch greased pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until brown on top.
