Enjoy this modern Dessert Sauce.


  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 egg yolk
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice


Cream sugar and margarine. Add egg yolks. Blend thoroughly. Add fresh lemon juice. Cook in a double boiler until thick and glossy. Very good on poundcake. Marvelous on an angel or white cake.
