Enjoy this modern Brandied Sirloin Steak recipe.


  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Tabasco sauce
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Juice 1 lemon
  • ½ cup brandy
  • 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak


Melt the butter in a heavy skillet. Add about ½ teaspoon of Tabasco sauce and lemon juice. Brown the steak on both sides over high heat. Cover and continue cooking until done to your liking. Just before serving, pour on a couple of tablespoons of Worcestershire; sprinkle with the oregano and the brandy.
