During your visit, take a tour of George Washington's iconic home.
Please note that the New Room, servants’ hall, kitchen, and study are open. All other rooms are off-view due to preservation work.
Parking Information
Parking is free and first come, first served at Mount Vernon. There are parking lots on the east and west sides of the George Washington Memorial Parkway as you approach the entrance.
If these parking lots become full, additional parking will be available at the Conservation Complex and Volunteer Center (CCVC) parking lot.
The entrance to the CCVC parking lot is located at the four-way stop intersection of VA 235 (Mount Vernon Memorial Highway) and the George Washington Memorial Parkway.
Drive to the CCVC gate (G6 on the map). As you drive through the gate, stay to the right and follow the signs and arrows into the parking lot. Park in the CCVC parking lot (P6 on the map) and walk to the estate entrance.

Massachusetts glassblower Luke Adams will return to Mount Vernon to sign his hand-blown, one-of-a-kind glass pumpkins and gourds on Saturday, September 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
