Mount Vernon recently had the opportunity to sit down with author Warren Bingham. Mr. Bingham has published a new and interesting account of President George Washington's famous 1791 southern journey.

George Washington was one of the largest whiskey producer in America. Today we continue the tradition of producing whiskey as well as other small batch distilled spirits at our historic Distillery & Gristmill site.

The Mount Vernon Ladies' Association Volunteer Program was established in 1992 to provide assistance to the Association in achieving their mission to preserve and protect the home and heritage of George Washington.
