• 2 cups cooked lamb, cut in cubes
  • 2 cups meat stock
  • 4 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 2 onions, grated
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup raw rice
  • 2 tablespoons Worcrestershire sauce
  • Directions

    Preheat oven to 325 dgrees. Cook first 4 ingredients over very low flame for 15 minutes. Do not boil. Season lightly with salt and pepper and set aside. In a frying pan, melt the butter and stir in raw rice. Cook until nicely browned. Add Worcestershire sauce. Combine rice and lamb and turn mixture into well-buttered casserole. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
