  • Directions

    1. Take some ground meat (veal, beef, etc.) and some boiled ham or bacon chopped very fine, season with salt, pepper, grated nutmeg, and a small quantity of parsley and thyme minced very fine. Cook these in a skillet.
    2. Make some paste (pastry dough), roll it out and cut into small squares.
    3. Fill with meat filling, close pastry around meat filling and crimp edges together.
    4. Place in greased pie pan or baking dish.
    5. Bake in a hot oven until golden brown approximately 20-25 minutes.
