Admission is free on Feb. 22 for George Washington’s birthday. Admission tickets will be distributed on-site upon arrival.


  • 2 slices bread
  • 3 pounds carrots, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 6 eggs
  • 8 springs parsley
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Peas
  • Directions

    Make soft crumbs of bread by putting in blender. Set aside. Cook carrots and onion in butter until soft. Blend eggs, parsley, salt, pepper and sugar. Add bread crumbs. carrots and onions. Mix well. Put in buttered 3-cup mold. Cover with foil put in pan of water and cook at 375 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. Turn out on platter and fill center with cooked peas.
