• 1/2 head medium-sized cabbage, shredded coarsely (approximately 3 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste
  • Directions

    Melt butter in 8-inch heavy frying pan (not iron). Add cabbage and all other ingredients. Simmer over low heat to medium heat until done but still crisp. Approximntely 10 minutes.

    Serves 4
