Join the George Washington Teacher Institute and the New Haven Museum for a FREE one-day workshop in New Haven, Connecticut. In the spirit of this year's National History Day theme, Exploration, Encounter, Exchange: The Young George Washington will take a close look at George Washington's early life, the French and Indian War, and Native Americans in the 18th century. Sessions focused on historical content and primary sources activities will introduce teachers to new methods to engage students in the classroom.
