October 6, 1923 and November 8, 1925

“President Calvin Coolidge honored us but twice during his administration. On October 6, 1923, with Mrs. Coolidge and house-guests, he came on the Mayflower and spent an afternoon inspecting the Mansion, gardens and relics.

“On November 8, 1925, accompanied by Mrs. Coolidge and high officials of the government, he escorted the Prince Imperial and Princess Imperial of Japan, incognito as Comte Asa and Comtessse Asa.”
