Sample Virginia-Made Wines

Bring a blanket and relax on the East Lawn overlooking the Potomac River as you sample wines from Virginia wineries.

Hear live music by Bruce Ewan and the Solid Senders, and enjoy concessions available for purchase from the Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant. Credit cards are accepted for concessions.

The Shops at Mount Vernon and Wine Valet Service are open until 8:45 p.m.

No outside food or beverages are allowed, except bottled water.

Mansion Closure

Due to ongoing conservation work, the Mansion will not be open.

Accessing Mount Vernon

Mount Vernon can be accessed from the Washington, DC metro by car or by public transportation.

Doors open at 6 p.m. each night.

  • Admission for 12 people
  • Three bottles of Mount Vernon house wine
  • A charcuterie tray
  • A fruit tray
  • A dessert platter
  • Private waiter service

Seating

Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or small lawn chair to sit on the East Lawn. Seating is not provided.

Tents, tables, pop-ups, grills, beach or free-standing umbrellas, coolers, and glass containers are not permitted.
