Cheers to the Nationals and to George Washington, the Original “Curly W’ Who Inspired Us All to Finish the Fight

MOUNT VERNON, VA - George Washington’s Mount Vernon is celebrating the baseball team that is first in the hearts of many people in Washington, DC—and now first in the National League—the Washington Nationals!

From October 22 through 30, as the teams take the field in the World Series, guests who visit Mount Vernon sporting Nationals gear will get 31% off their admission. The discount honors Max Scherzer, #31, who is expected to throw out the Nationals’ first pitch of the series.

When the Nats take the home field on October 25, George Washington will also be getting in on the action as we hide 15 George Washington bobbleheads near the ballpark. Find one and get free admission to Mount Vernon.

Throughout the series, each time George Washington wins the president’s race, we’ll honor one lucky visitor the following day with a special prize. For more information, please visit www.mountvernon.org/nationals.
