This is the story of Ann Pamela Cunningham, a woman who spent her life preserving George Washington's home and legacy. She brought together the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association in 1853 and collected the equivalent of 6 million dollars by today's standards to purchase Mount Vernon and the surrounding land.
