Participate in an Immersive Roleplaying Experience
Set in 18th-century America, the Situation Room Experience is a fast-paced and interactive game. It allows participants to step into the shoes of the presidential Cabinet, U.S. senators, foreign ambassadors, Native American leaders, members of the press, and even George Washington himself!

Step into Washington's Cabinet
This special Situation Room experience is reserved for any homeschooled individual aged 13-19. Come participate with other homeschool students, be assigned a historical figure, and do your best to ensure the American government endures through Washington’s presidency.
Washington's Cabinet is a high-stakes environment where guests examine the functions of the American government through a multitude of sources and active participation for 75 minutes. Guests must come together and utilize important skills like persuasion, communication, conflict resolution, and organizational leadership to make decisions during a critical time in Washington's Presidency.
Please note: This 21st-century educational experience requires a group size of 25 to 48 students. Should ticket sales not reach this, the game will be canceled or rescheduled.
Program Overview
- The program runs for a minimum of two hours.
- The program does not require prior knowledge of the historical time period or events.
- An optional lunch will be available after. If you would like to purchase a lunch, please add that to your ticket.
Registration Details
- You do not have to be a part of a co-op to register.
- You will receive a survey via email after registration; this survey will be used to assign the roles of historical figures.
- Instructions for the game will be shared upon arrival.
- One parent may accompany the student playing the game into the Library. Conference rooms will be reserved for coworking spaces; however, due to capacity in Rubenstein (where the game is played), parents may not sit and watch the game. Furthermore, due to capacity in the Library, siblings may not join the player/caregiver.
