Three fragments of wallpaper, taken from the Central Passage at Mount Vernon in 1898, pasted to a length of brown paper. Some of the fragments appear to consist of at least two layers. The wallpaper is printed in white and light green on a gray or neutral background, and displays elements of a neoclassical style pattern with scrolls and leafy sprigs. The first layer of the longest fragment features elements of light green, verditer color.
