Buckle has oval frame and slightly curved profile. Pin parallel to long axis of buckle; possibly a large knee buckle.

Iron D-shape frame buckle, no tongue. Poor condition.
Parks Canada notes "chalk-heel" flints retain portions of cortex from original nodule. Slightly concave back.

Same material as finished gunflints; tag says "Dover chert". Multiple negative flake scars and a series of bulbs of percussion along one edge.
Opaque and darker than core 1829506.
Kidd type unknown due to distorted shape; original shape type and manu tech also indeterminate. Little to no patina.
