Things To DoThe Estate Remains Open During Preservation Work
Mansion
- The first and second floors are open to tour during your visit.
- The museum, historic grounds, tomb, slave memorial, farm, and gardens remain open.
Education Center
- Get early access now during a special preview period to our new exhibition, George Washington: A Revolutionary Life, opening in June. Certain areas and attractions may be off-view due to ongoing renovations.
- The museum exhibition Mount Vernon: Story of An American Icon, located next to the Education Center, is open.
