Kids 10 and Under Welcome!

Families with children ages 10 and under can discover more about the building in the Hands-on-History Center.

Children can: 

  • Explore some of the tools commonly used by carpenters and brickmakers
  • Make a brick using playdoh 
  • Build a cabin using toy logs

History-at-Play

Books, 18th-century costumes, a Mount Vernon dollhouse, and more are also available in the Hands-on-History Center.
