This year’s design features a rustic container made of reclaimed barn wood filled with an assortment of materials including artichokes, hot peppers, and okra pods.  The okra pods and the cayenne peppers were harvested from Mount Vernon’s historic gardens and dried in the production greenhouses. This exclusive design class will be led by Melanie Welles Creamer, Mount Vernon Greenhouse Manager.
