Mount Vernon is the historic home of America's first president, George Washington, just a short drive from Washington, DC in northern Virginia.

General admission includes one-day admittance to the Mount Vernon estate and from April-October George Washington's Distillery & Gristmill. While we recommend at least three hours for your visit, shorter visits are also possible.
