On July 9, 2014 at the Rubenstein Leadership Hall in the Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington, Dr. Gwendolyn K. White, a member of the Library’s inaugural class of fellows, will discuss the results of her research topic, "Commerce and Community at George Washington’s Mount Vernon, 1754-1799".

Gwendolyn K. White
White is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of History and Art History at George Mason University. White has a Master of Architectural History from the University of Virginia and previously held a fellowship at Mount Vernon transcribing some of Washington's farm and financial papers.
