In this episode, Dr. Joseph Stoltz sits down with Dr. Dana Stefanelli to discuss his role as one of the editors for the Papers of George Washington Project.
Dana Stefanelli completed his Ph.D. at the University of Virginia. His research studies the difficult process of creating a center city and central government capable of determining national economic policy for a republic born in rebellion against the commercial and fiscal authority of the old imperial center. He is currently one of the editors for the Papers of George Washington Project and is based at Mount Vernon.
Joseph Stoltz is a historian and the Deputy Director of Leadership Programs at the Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington at Mount Vernon. He is also the author of A Bloodless Victory: The Battle of New Orleans in History and Memory.
