The library’s collections contain materials about George and Martha Washington, Mount Vernon, the Founding Era and Early Republic, historic preservation and decorative arts. These resources include: books, manuscripts, archives, serials, electronic resources and databases, microforms, audio-visual materials, and maps. We also are the repository for the archives of the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association.
