• 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 frying chicken, quartered
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Directions

    Preheat the broiler. Combine mustard, onions and soy sauce and spin in blender. In small pan melt margarine, stir in brown sugar. Add the mustard mixture and stir well. Brush sauce on chicken, sprinkle on salt and pepper. Place on a rack in a broiling pan. Broil 20 to 25 minutes with flame set low, turning and basting occasionally, until tender and browned to desired state. Deglaze broiling pan with chicken broth and serve as a gravy.
