• 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 1/2 cups light salad oil
  • Directions

    Put egg, lemon juice and seasonings in a food processor or blender. Blend for a few seconds and with motor still running, pour oil into mixture very slowly. Mayonnaise will keep fresh in a container in the refrigerator for a week or more. Serve with cold boiled lobster.

    Yields: 1 1/2 cups
