• 2 large cucumbers
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons chopped dill
  • 1 pint palin yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped mint
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Directions

    Peel and remove most of the seeds from cucumbers. Process all ingre dients in blender or food processor briefly until cucumber is finely chopped. It should retain a slightly crunchy texture. Chill well. May be made a day or 2 ahead. For a change, add a 6-ounce can of tomato juice.
