Reservation

Campers participate in activities focusing on archaeology, music, horticulture, and more to explore Mount Vernon and everyday life in the 18th century. They also meet people from George Washington's world, and some of the estate's heritage breed animals. Campers have the opportunity at an open house on Friday to showcase their discoveries.

Registration fee includes lunches, snacks, backpacks, and a Camp Washington t-shirt.

Upon registration, Mount Vernon will send to guardians a registration packet to collect important information about campers, such as allergies and meal preferences. Mount Vernon reserves the right to cancel a session no less than two days before camp begins if registration is below eight participants. In this event, you will be notified by phone or e-mail and offered credit for another program, a full refund, or the option to donate your camp fee to Mount Vernon.
