Join George Washington's Mount Vernon at The Gilcrease Museum for a George Washington Teacher Institute Alumni and Friends Happy Hour on October 30th followed by a FREE one-day workshop for area teachers in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 31st. 

Please Note: Registered attendees should use the museum's main entrance when they arrive to check-in for the event. Admission to the Gilcrease Museum will be waived for all registered attendees.

George Washington: Business Entrepreneur Workshop - October 31, 9:30am-1:30pm

Explore the history of George Washington's plantation at Mount Vernon with sessions focused on Washington's business and agricultural inventiveness. Featured speakers are Mount Vernon Farm and Gristmill expert Sam Murphy, historian Kristen Burton of the University of Texas, Arlington, and Washington's Farm Manager, James Anderson.

Lunch will be provided to all participants.
