Connect STEAM Topics With History

Join our Education staff and K-12 teachers from across the country to explore the many connections between STEAM and the history of George Washington's Mount Vernon and the 18th century.

Learn from various experts from Mount Vernon's Historic Trades and Historic Preservation teams through presentations on topics such as farming, milling, horticulture, livestock, and more! 

Gain confidence integrating history and STEAM concepts in an interdisciplinary context to support student learning while building a network of content peers.

Registration Details

  • 30 minutes of asynchronous work will be required prior to participation.
  • Priority will be given to teachers and/or coordinators working in Title 1 schools.
  • The workshop is limited to 100 teachers 
  • A waitlist will be made available after registration meets full capacity.
