Created by a team of classroom teachers and Mount Vernon scholars, the Lesson contains a wealth of curriculum-relevant information and hands-on learning activities focusing on the life of George Washington and the founding of our nation.

In addition to a booklet containing background essays, lesson plans, discussion questions, and student activities, the portfolio contains a set of 30 "scratch-and-learn cards" and of 30 full-color George Washington trading cards.
