Mount Vernon has two membership groups for all ranges of donors up to
$4,999: The Friends of Mount Vernon and the Neighborhood Friends (members
who live in zip codes 22308, 22309 and 22121). Members enjoy a variety of
benefits depending on the level of they choose. All members receive:
- Admissions to the estate
- Discounts at restaurant and gift shops
- Advance notice of special events
- A subscription to Mount Vernon's newsletter, Yesterday, Today,
Tomorrow
Mount Vernon has two additional giving societies for those who wish to make a
more significant contribution to the preservation and education initiatives at
Mount Vernon: The Mount Vernon One Hundred (for donations between $5,000
and $9,999) and The Washington Council (for donations $10,000+) For
