Residuary Bequest
"I give, devise and bequeath to the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association of the Union (tax identification number 54-0564701), a non-profit organization with principal offices located in Fairfax County, Virginia, the rest and residue of my estate, to be used for its general uses and purposes."
Contingent Bequest
"In the event that (name or names; i.e., spouse, children, sibling, heirs) shall not survive me, or shall die during the administration of my estate, within ___ days from the date of my death, or as a result of a common disaster, then I give, devise and bequeath those beneficiaries' shares of my estate to the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association of the Union (tax identification number 54-0564701), a non-profit organization with principal offices located in Fairfax County, Virginia, to be used for its general uses and purposes.”
