This extraordinary miniature was created by a group of more than 50 talented miniaturists, artisans, and “George Washington enthusiasts” from Washington State as a special gift to America. Using a circa 1799 inventory, the master artisans painted and furnished the miniature in the colors and style of the original. This beautiful porcelain ornament depicts the exterior of the West Front of the Mansion and, on the reverse, a view of the interior from the east. An opening in the base allows a Christmas light to be inserted to illuminate the entire miniature mansion. The ornament is 4 ½” x 3” x1 ½” and has a red ribbon for hanging.
