George Washington Porthole Portrait Black and Gilt Framed Oil Reproduction
This reproduction circa 1823 portrait by Rembrandt Peale is known as the “Porthole Portrait” and was painted 24 years after Washington's death. Peale based more than 70 versions of this portrait on a life study done of Washington in 1795, when the artist was only 17 years old and Washington was 63.
This image has been reproduced in fine art lithographic print with a canvas textured finish. This print is protected with a UV retardant covering and is printed on recycled paper.
This portrait measures 36" x 42", including the frame.
