These wooden boxes are hand decorated using a technique known as faux finishing. Mount Vernon’s signature paintings by Edward Savage, circa 1792, have been reproduced and these images are permanently adhered to the boxes then covered with a protective film. These beautiful boxes are handmade in America. The large wooden box measures 13” high x 21” wide x 13 ½ ” diameter, and has the 1792 West Front view on the top of the box. This versatile box can be used as a small end table, for magazines and videos, or as a keepsake chest. The lid of the box has a special protective coating that is alcohol and stain proof, making it particularly durable. The medium wooden box measures 10 ½” high x 17 ¼”wide x 9” diameter. This piece has the 1792 West Front view design on the front of the box. The small wooden box measures 7” high x 10” wide x 6” diameter and has the 1792 East View design on the front of the box.
