The Pioneer Farm Cross Stitch Kit

The Pioneer Farm Cross Stitch Kit

Price: $19.95

In his day, George Washington was known as the “first farmer of America”.  One of his most creative innovations was a 16-sided “round” barn, designed in 1792, to accommodate the indoor threshing of wheat by his horses.   The present life-sized replica of the barn is based on Washington’s own design drawings, his list of materials, and a wealth of original documentation.  The new structure was erected by Mount Vernon’s expert craftsmen using the same types of tools, materials, and building methods known to Washington.

Finished size is 9” x 12” on 14 count Charles Craft fabric.  Kit includes Charles Craft material, DMC floss, needle, chart, instructions, and a color illustration of the finished project.

Made in America.
