Because of this connection to America's first and greatest patriot, George Washington, Neighborhood Friends receive unique benefits including invitations to the annual Neighborhood Friends-only Family Night Picnic held each September on the East Lawn of the Estate and an admission benefit that is transferable to guests and other family members. Each year, the Neighborhood Friends commit their generous support to a specific project benefiting the Estate.
