Blue and white porcelains from China have been a fixture on American tables for more than two centuries. George and Martha Washington first acquired them in the early 1760’s, and over the next 35 years they made at least 9 additional purchases of blue and white china for their home. The mix of patterns with a unifying color scheme would have given a pleasant variety to the table settings at Mount Vernon.
The finished size is 9” in diameter on 18 count Charles Craft fabric. Kit includes Charles Craft material, DMC floss, needle, chart, instructions, and a color illustration of the finished project.
