Larkspur Seed Pack
Delphinium Ajacis. Larkspur are hardy annuals that will always be cherished for their beautiful tall spikes of feathery-petaled flowers in shades of white, blue, lilac, purple, or rose. Larkspur can reach a height of three to five feet and do best in full sun, but can grow in partial shade.
Sow seeds in the spring where the plants are to remain. If the seed is sown in the summer, the plants will flower the following year. Seeds are short-lived, so if you cannot sow the seeds immediately, store them in a refrigerator until you can. Larkspur was growing in America in the late 1600s.
Heirloom seeds are collected from the gardens and grounds of George Washington's Mount Vernon and cleaned and packaged by hand.
