George Washington had a keen interest in gardening and delighted in nurturing rare and exotic plants which were sent to him from all over the world.
He held his gardeners in high regard and afforded them the best tools and resources such as French copper “watering pots”.
This reproduction watering can is made of pure copper which will age beautifully and develop a rich verdigris patina over time when exposed to the weather.
The diameter of the base is 7 ¼”. Watering can is 17” tall with sprinkle openings measuring .25”.
