This Mount Vernon glass suncatcher ornament was handcrafted in Virginia using the same methods used in George Washington's time. In his day, Washington was known as the "first farmer of America". One of his most creative innovations was a 16-sided barn designed in 1792 to accommodate indoor threshing of wheat by his horses. The present life-size replica of this barn is based on Washington's own design drawings and list of materials. Made in America.
